  • A couple funny quotes from some little kids during the VBS week...

Ruth Kibler (teaching about the Judsons) asked the whole red team (ages 4-6) if they were all born in America....then she stopped and said, "Well, I think all of you were probably born in America!"      A little boy raised his hand and said, "Not my grandpa!! He was born in Georgia!"

A little girl-- "God loves the Devil, too."

During a little skit about bees, one of the people acting like a bee laid down on the floor and pretended to be exhausted. As he lay there, Mrs. V (who was teaching) was talking about him and the other bees. A little boy raised his hand and asked... "Can I wrestle the bee to wake him up?"

A little girl-- "*singing* Oh my gooooodness! I am just so worn out craaazy!"

  • I love to.... Serve the Lord~find ways to make boring tasks fun~ play the piano and accompany people as they sing~go for long walks to think and pray~dance outside in the moonlight~laugh over the littlest things~watch the sun set~ help people and listen to them as they share the burdens on their heart or struggles that they're facing~stand outside during a storm~drive our big red van~listen to quiet, sappy music~give people hugs~listen to elderly people tell stories of their past~vacation to warm beaches~wear flip flops year-round~smile at people for no reason~ I love Nathan! :)
